Loving God! Loving Others! And doing something about it!
Emmanuel is a community of people who love God and desire to make His love real to those in our community. We believe the Bible is God’s truth and guidebook for life and that Jesus Christ came to restore our broken relationship with God and with others. Our desire is to help everyone experience the fullness of life and hope that is available through Jesus. We offer many community ministries in addition to our Sunday services and Bible classes for adults, teens, and children.
What is the church community like?
Emmanuel is a friendly, engaging community of people that quickly makes everyone feel accepted and loved! We come from many different backgrounds and range from families with young children, to college-aged singles and young professionals, to "empty-nesters," all the way up to our senior adults. Though our backgrounds may be diverse, we are growing together in love for God and others!
What are our Sunday mornings like?
SUMMER SCHEDULE: Our Sunday mornings are modified over the summer (July & August) by offering a single, 10 am service. (Christian Education classes are suspended.)
What about kids?
For children under the age of two, our nursery program is available during both our Sunday School period and church services. Christian living classes (Sunday School) are available as well for those aged two through first grade, those in second grade through fifth grade, and for middle & high school youth.
After Sunday School, parents may bring their parents to our Fellowship Hall for some light refreshments prior to everyone coming together for the start of our 11 am service.
Children are included in the early part of our Sunday service, during our singing and "worship" time. They are then dismissed to be part of our Children’s Church program where age-appropriate crafts and Bible stories will be part the experience of learning about the God who loves them.
Throughout the year, we offer numerous special events and programs for children and youth as well! Check out our "Programs" and "What’s Happening at Emmanuel" pages!
